The cherry trees in the spring.....the brick walkways across the quad covered with snow......the brilliant leaves in the fall ...... the Denny Bells ringing out across campus.......the sounds of the UW Symphony in Meany Hall......the gargoyles against the blue sky......the "cathedral reading room" in Suzzalo Library.....memories of great professors lecturing about geology and ancient history......the fountain and the mountain.....the roar of the crowd when the Huskies score a touchdown.....all this is why I love the U of W.- L. Husky '71
