As a UW employee at Harborview, I've always felt a lot of support, in continued ed. resources, various updates on resources available, and getting news updates on happenings within and around the 'U'. I always enjoy getting the yearly review from the UW School of Social Work, showing what new exciting endeavors the school is engaged in. There is a positive feeling throughout Harborview Medical Center, a "patients come first" attitude, and an interdepartmental comraderie that consistently makes dealing with other areas so much more pleasant, and getting what I need so much easier. - Herb Young. 1988 MSW.
