I am a second generation UW College of Forest Resources grad. I love the UW because it is a stalwart of education, recognized around that nation and the world as an outstanding education and research institution. A UW degree commands respect.

The University of Washington is a respected natural resource management institution. UW Forestry and fisheries management, oceanography, geology and meterology and engineering are all well known about the academic and professional worlds.

It has been a mark of educational and management excellence to present my UW BS in Forest Management to the professional and the public. Being a UW grad means something to these people. That's important to me.

That technology, knowledge and research capability reside in the former UW Colleges of Forestry and Fisheries, at al.

Don't forget that. - Malcolm R. Dick, Jr. BSF 1974
