What's not to love about the U?! I loved the buildings, the cherry blossoms in the spring, Frosh Pond, No More Ducks in The Daily. I loved my view of Lake Washington from my dorm room - best view I ever had! I always loved school and learning and UW is a great place to do it. It opened up opportunities and friendships with lifelong impact. I got to fly in a small plane around Mt. Rainier for Geo 101 (Rocks for Jocks). I got to represent my school at the American Advertising Conference in Washington D.C. I met people from all over the world. Most importantly - I met my husband there and 29 years later we are still together! - Sherri Jarvey - '81
