The UW represented the culture of the city as well as the State of Washington. It pushed forth an agenda of standing for being a good, moral, informed and hard working member of the school, city and state. The UW provided the leadership of good decision making on all issues from health and environment and business that the citizens of the state could draw upon. It was affordable to the citizens and treated the students very well. The UW made me want to help and be a part of a good place. It tried to be open to communicating with the students and helping students treat each other well without making it all about money grubbing. I am proud to be a Husky from the UW in Seattle Washington! - Carrie Hicks- 75'
