Love the academic excellence of the undergraduates, the grad students and the faculty; love the excitement of the programs presented by the UW World Series and the Department of Music; love the lectures offered by the Alumni Association partnering with UW faculty members and visiting scholars; love the Information School; love the mid-century architecture of the UW Club and the view from the dining room; love Rainier Vista; love the cherry blossoms, rhodendrons and azaleas in the spring; love the view from the upper deck of the north side of Husky stadium (no matter what the football team is doing, if you can see the lake and the mountains, it's not all bad); love the Suzzallo reading room (which was the entire library when my mother was in school); love the feeling of being part of the community. - Marcie Cooper Stone '69, '76
