Why we love the UW - Real stories from UW alumni

I lived in town. Graduated from HS in Seattle. Watched the athletic teams in all sports, football, basketball, track, crew, baseball. Became a student. Became a football manager and lived with the team for 3 years. Watched the sun come up over Mt. Rainier walking to class. Used the Student Union as a meeting place. Explored the knowledge centers, beautiful grounds, Suzzalo Library, the Quad in spring, fraternity row in the rain, and graduated having earned my way for all expenses -tuition, books, fees, parking, et al. And, I did it with an engineering degree in 4 years. Where else could I have done that? - Craig '58
