It's so hard to choose between the quad in spring with its pink blossoms; red-square when the sun warms the bricks making you want to sit and soak up the heat; the fountain when the mountain is out and the sun makes prisms out of the droplets shedding rainbows, but I think it is the bookstore with the warm smell coffee, the feeling of pride in purple, of expectation and excitement for classes to begin and new notebooks. I no longer live in Seattle, but when I visit the U district, I always make a point to come to the bookstore even if I can't get on campus. - "Husky4ever '91"
