I was a Communications major, and my education for this field was excellent. It prepared me with practical experience (KUOW and KCTS-TV), and outside my major, information I would use the rest of my life. My professors were excellent and approachable. A few years after my graduation, one recommended me for a job! I was always proud to say that I was a graduate of the University of Washington. I formed lifelong friendships.Today, I enjoy watching that this tradition of excellence is maintained. Go Huskies! - Sharon Lund Friel '61
