Why we love the UW - Real stories from UW alumni

I love the UW, because of the EEU! The EEU (which is short for Experimental Education Unit) is a great little school located on the southern part of the UW campus. This part of the UW has had such an impact on my life. I completed practicums and did an independent study there as a UW student. In 1989, I started to work at the EEU as a Speech-Language Pathologist. My daughter attended the school while she was in preschool and Kindergarten. As a teenager, my daughter has volunteered at the EEU and worked as a teacher's aide during the summer. I still work at the EEU and consider it to be the best inclusive early childhood setting in the country! - S. French, '80, '82
