Why we love the UW - Real stories from UW alumni

I love the UW because it felt like home for all the quarters I was there. I loved the walking on campus, the cherry trees in the springtime, the hush of the Suzzallo Library Reading Room, the Husky Mascot Statue outside Husky Stadium, Red Square, the architecture of Denny Hall the list could go on forever. However, saving the very best for last and the cherry on top would be the opportunity to put my feelings about my UW experience into words and have them become the new Alma mater for the University of Washington.  It was an honor then and it's an honor now to be a University of Washington graduate. A Husky who will always Rise Up With Pride. - Catherine Henderson '08
