I had been a citizen, a soldier and a family member and always felt that those connections formed and feed me. My career as a student at UW broadened those connections to include the whole of our human experience. As a Chiddie I came into contact with minds and events that have helped me feel the present as a result of the past and a belief that the future will reflect the present. Studying in the Suzzallo Library was also a dream come true. - Tommy McKervey '08
