I grew up in Washington state and always wanted to go there to college. Both my parents graduated from U of W and father Ralph played football there in the early thirties.

Living in Tacoma made it difficult to partcipate in many of the cultural activities on the campus but we attended football games regularly for forty years until I retired and spent half the year in Palm Desert. Two things that stand out now are all the good friends we made in school and now have time to reconnect with them. The other is the outstanding work being done by the medical school. We're at the age where many of our friends need major medical help. Many of them are finding cures at the medical school. - Jay "59"
