Having been raised only 10 minutes from campus by my parents, also Huskies, I have memories of UW as early as I can remember - cheering at football and basketball games on my dad's shoulders, my babysitter taking me to the Quad to play with other children, visiting the Burke with my middle school. When I attended UW as a student it was like discovering a new area of my own backyard. I lived on campus and found immense libraries, brilliant professors speaking in grand lecture halls, and an endless list of student organizations guaranteed to welcome any set of interests. These are all reasons why I have always loved the UW. Now the real question is - what's NOT to love? - '10
