Because it is simply a part of me, of my family heritage dating back to the turn of the century when my grandmother was in one of the first graduating classes with some of Seattle's well-known pioneers.

As a kid growing up in Bellevue, I would accompany my dad on Saturday drives over to her house, passing Husky Stadium and listening to games on the radio. My dad attended too but when it came to my choice, it was natural to go to there - because its a part of me.

The setting is unparalled...the fountain and the mountain, the spring cherry trees in the quad, the library - I am always "home" even when I am away - it stays with you forever. - Carol '83
